ABOUT ME “Mike Asimos”

Michael Asimos is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Charleston Capital Holdings®. He is responsible for overall management of the company.

Asimos created Charleston Capital Holdings® in 2003 in Johns Island, SC. He has held several management positions with the US government before, starting his career at Charleston Capital Holdings. He was named president and chief operating officer in 2014 before assuming his current role in 2015.

Asimos is a member of the Business Roundtable. He is past chair of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) and serves on several boards including Employee Benefits Institute (EBI) and University of South Carolina Advisory Council. In late 1990’s, Mike Asimos was formally recognized and named in South Carolina for his great work for the US military overseas and is recognized for his significant contributions to the enhancement and development of the state’s economy.

He has appeared before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on US affiliations to discuss the importance of educating those serving about the financial needs in retirement. Asimos joined the joint forum of U.S. Senate Committees on Finance and Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions to discuss retirement savings plans.
